Just when you thought you knew what to expect, the boys and girl from dC flip the switch, and try to hit you with something a little bit different.

VERVE has been embraced by the depthCORE artists like no pack before it. Statistics mean nothing, but the fact that we have created over 120 pieces of art in just over a month is a fact that simply cannot be ignored. VERVE has taken off in our imaginations, and it is my belief that we have done the best job we ever have in expressing a pack.

VERVE see's depthCORE truly embrace mixed media, as we present our traditional abstract alongside and intertwined with modern design, photography, music and for the first time animation, with a stronger emphasis on originality than ever before. Bart van Leeuwen (fake) is the epitomy of innovation, and as such is a very appropriate featured artist for VERVE.

I think I speak for everyone when i say we are very proud to present this collection of art to you. It has been a fantastic experience designing and collating this pack, and I for one am very excited with the evolution our beloved group is making.

I'd like to extend a warm welcome to the new designers, photographers, musicians and animators who are joining us in this pack. As I'm sure you'll agree, their contributions are a crucial component to the overall vibe and success of VERVE, as they help us illustrate the inner soul and groove that motivates and inspires us as artists.

I sincerely hope you enjoy perusing this new offering from us. Whilst we always have fun creating them for you, this one was far and away the best artistic experience we as a collective have ever had.

Come see the release at http://www.depthcore.com!

We would like to give a very special thanks to Merchant for providing the title image for this release, Master for his coding talents, and every member of noir for submitting their work for our viewing pleasure. Hey guys! It's been awhile since I have posted some news for you guys! Everyone should know we are still very alive and things are back on track now. In January our server died and we had to switch over to a new one. This process took some time which is why the lack of activity on the site took place. We have a lot coming to you guys though! Since the downtime we have acquired a couple new additions to Noir. These amazing new additions are Toby, Schloerby, and Delphene. A brand new pack is on its way in the next couple hours as well! This will be one our best releases yet and we are very excited to get it out! As an addition to this in the next couple days we will be adding some new downloads. Will update you all again soon! c-ya!

Well folks I will be gone for a while, no clue how long this is going to be. So I am leaving the leaders in charge. I would like to announce that Ccrat, and Ryan Knope are now also in charge. I hope to be back soon but they will be permanent leaders and great ones at the same time. Lordcreeper had discussed this with me before he left. So any concerns will be forwarded to them and the other leaders. I will return though so don't worry ;). I expect the packs to be submitted on time and Ryan knows when I have set the times and due dates. I hope all of you the best and hope to come back soon. l83|2z.

Sup all... Yes it's been a while since anyone has seen changes. What you have seen is noir go down, the main server went offline and we have lost all our data. Which was mainly the forums and the main news that you see here. The December pack is still there but there was a problem getting the Febuary pack up since the loss of the server. Now we have a new server thanks to bweasel and cyberd. I would also like to thank Dieter Eckhardt for hosting noir for the longest time, we will miss it. But since everything is getting backonline slowly we will be back soon, I do have alot of work to do so bare with me and it will happen! E-mails accounts are being created again so if your a member please contact cyberd and he will set you up or tell you who will. Ok with that said I have tons to do so back to work :).. l83|2z.

Noir is undergoing a switch to a newer faster server. At one point the server may shut down for a day or so. If this happens no need to fear everything will be back very soon after that. The forums have been fixed and are running perfectly again. We also added 4 great new tutorials. Shea submitted 3 and Ice submitted 1. As soon as we get the server moved we will have a great December pack released which we are pretty eager to show you!

I am proud to say we are back after a very long period of time. It has been a lot of work to get things up and running again but we did it! Our group has been blessed with some of the most talented artists we have ever had. We couldn’t be more proud and honored to have them with us. Among our new members we still have many of our old members as well who have been with us since the beginning and supported us. Our first new release features a whopping 133 pieces of amazing work from our artists. Our original releases are also still available in our Release section some dating back to 1997. Some of you past visitors to Noir also may notice our brand new layout. A lot of work has been put into it by a variety of our members. We think it came out pretty damn nice. I’d like to thank Genetic, CCrat, Cadaverous Fate, Cyberd, Tr1cky, Oculus, Master, Ramone, Nicky, Cyberd, Kilgard, Sama, and Nykon for all there help getting up the new site and the pack. Another person I’d like to get out in the open is Ryan Knope (Fryenurbs). He was the reason Noir restarted. Without a lot of his dedication Noir may have never been rekindled. Finally we have a nice collection of tutorials and a small amount of downloads to start with provided kindly by Gino Dammers for you all to check out. Noir is back and better then ever baby! We hope you enjoy our work and will keep coming back to check us out! Maybe even join! Best wish’s from the Noir Team!
